Hailing from the breathtaking maritime Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, Veronica was born to sing!

The prestigious Veronica Tynes, also known as “LayDee Vee”, began gracing the world with her vocal gift at the tender age of 9.

In her young adulthood, the highly gifted Veronica began singing in the well-received and widely broadcasted televised production God’s Trombone, directed by none other than Walter Borden.

LayDee Vee’s acclaimed performance marked only the beginning of many breath taking moments in the spotlight.

Marching forward, LayDee Vee has illuminated the stage alongside legendary greats such as Cissy Houston and The Barrett Sisters, among others, as a soloist with the nationally renowned Nova Scotia Mass Choir.

Her noteworthy resume doesn’t stop there. LayDee Vee’s remarkable ability to rock, swoon, and truly blow the roof off took her across the Canadian border to Washington, D.C. where her astounding voice led the way at the Martin Luther King memorial. There, she shared this historical moment with the choir backing the one and only Shirley Caesar, the late great Billy Preston and others.
